‘Ronald Corp has composed two beautiful and highly effective quartets. They are original in concept and clearly establish a very individual voice, perhaps stemming from Ron’s extensive work with choirs.  Both have a very wide expressive range, from highly energetic, motoric  scherzos to the evocation of the stillness and expanse of the Salisbury Plain [in No. 1].  We have greatly enjoyed performing and recording these quartets and look forward to future chamber works from this enterprising and hugely accomplished musician.’

Martin Outram, Viola player of the Maggini Quartet
